On behalf of our client, a leading Internet Company in Berlin, we are currently accepting resumes for the following professional opportunity:
DATA SCIENTIST (BERLIN)
An excellent opportunity to grow your career with the development team on real-time data warehousing.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• From a wealth of constantly changing data you will create and develop models that reveal correlations
• Design prototypes to quickly verify assumptions on (e.g.) Recommenders or user behavior within the network
• Continuous optimization of our recommendation system
YOUR PROFILE
• Bachelor´s degree in computer science or mathematics
• Interest in developing complex stream processing algorithms
• Ideas how to generate better recommendations through Collaborative Filtering, Semantics and context
• Good capabilities in using statistic tools of your choice
• Knowledge of MapReduce as well as tools like Pig and Hive would be a plus
• Hands on experience in Java or Python is an advantage
• Willing to prove your opinions with numbers
